The "National Art Center,Tokyo" have definte impact and changed the Art
Scene in Japan. It was established in 2007.
Designed by Noriaki Kurokawa, the basic design concept came from an museum inside a forrest. This museum from both the outside and inside is a very innovative and a comfortable space. From the inside, the many glasses allow a warm nice light inside to which enhances comfort.
At any given time, there is always some sort of Events and Special displays. And since every floors and displays are very easy to walk around for comfort viewing.
It is in "Roppongi" near by there are other museums, such as "Mori Art Museum" in Roppongi Hills, "Suntory Museum" in Tokyo Mid-Town area.
With these 3 museums, which surrounds Roppongi Area as a Triangle, there are other special discounts available.
The museum shop underground, there are many of the Japanese and Global cool design goods that are available. You can find a very sensitive design based pottery, Jewelry, Fabrication Textiles and Culture Artifacts.
You can find many mixture of Old Traditional Japanese Design mixed with the Modern designs, so it is perfect as a souvenir.
